The historic center of Allariz is one of the most interesting groups in Galicia, currently becoming a benchmark for the development of the textile trade through the development of a set of shops, outlet types that contribute to the economic growth of the town.

These are the reasons that led us to choose this place to locate a place for the fashion world, covering all its phases: design, production and sale.

For the location of this space we selected one of the buildings in the historic center, located in the town's Plaza Mayor. It is an 18th century coat of arms house, consisting of two floors and a ground floor, as well as a backyard which is accessed from the first level.

The main feature of this town is the friendly character of its rehabilitations, combining tradition with modernity, both in materials and shapes. This line of action was the concept to be taken into account in the development of the project.

Based on this idea, we chose to maintain the existing load-bearing walls, creating three mezzanines designed as a new volume "supported" on the original structure of the house.

Once we access the premises we find the sales area, located on the ground floor and divided according to the spaces defined by the structure itself: sales area, testers, toilet and warehouse.

The vertical communication is created from the only load-bearing wall that extends to the roof, centralizing all the volumes in the same area and allowing access to the first floor, intended for the work area. From here we reach the backyard, presided over by an old chestnut tree and intended for photo shoots, cocktails, parades, etc.

Continuing the ascent we arrive at the third plant, of private scope, destined to the office of the designer.

The combination of volumes and materials is intended to create a space of new construction that is maintained in line with the environment around it, where the sale is a direct extension of the design.
