Final Project

Materials: walnut, ash and wenge.

SHINATOBE is a coffee table designed for practical use as a coffee table or side table in a living room. Its name comes from Japanese mythology, this being the god of winds, freedom and the movement of things.

The furniture is produced in 3 different types of wood, with walnut and ash used for the countertop and legs, and wengue wood for the triangular pieces that make up the informal taracea at the top of the countertop and in its directional continuation by the hind legs. .

The aim of this table is to produce the feeling of light weight, of lightness surrounded by the air that surrounds it. Cleanliness in its form, elegance and simplicity are concepts that could define it.
