Mesaku is a side table made with the Japanese kumiko technique. Two different types of wood were used in its production: oak and cedar. Through the application of artistic cabinetmaking techniques, the four frames were joined with tripod assemblies. The extensions of the Kumiko frames are embedded in the frame. For the construction of the Kumiko, angles of 45 and 90 degrees were chosen, which simulated a repeated figure throughout the entire construction process.
Its dimensions of 480 x 425 mm and its light weight make this coffee table an ideal complement to any room. It is designed as an object to be used also to support a cup of tea or books.
It is aimed at people who love crafts, with a taste for the simplicity and nobility that wood brings.
