REGISTRATION

After passing the entrance test and getting a place, do I have to do anything else?

Yes, you must register at the Secretary's Office of the School in which you obtained the place, within the period established in the call for access and admission of students to the EEAAPP of Design for the following year.

If I don’t get a place, but I’m on the waiting list, do I still have a chance to be able to enroll?

Yes, if the people who have obtained a place do not formalize their registration at the Secretariat, a new list of people who get a place will be published and a new deadline will be opened for those people to register and so on until all the places offered have been filled.

How much does it cost to enroll in the EEAAPP for Photography, Illustration and Artistic Joinery?

Registration for the Higher Cycles is free. If you are under the age of 28, you must pay the amount of school insurance, which last year was € 1.12. At the time of formalizing the registration, you must provide 3 passport-size photographs.

What is the registration period?

The registration of new students is carried out within the deadlines stipulated in the access and admission instructions corresponding to each academic year. It is usually held in the second half of July and, in the event of an extraordinary allocation of places, in the first week of September. Registration for alumni will be in the first first fortnight of July.

Can I cancel my registration?

If it is for a justified reason (prolonged illness, family duties, incorporation into a job) you can cancel the registration, only once, by sending an application to the School Management at least two months before the final evaluation of the modules in which you were enrolled.

The application must be accompanied by supporting documentation justifying such waiver. If the Management accepts the resignation, this WILL NOT INVOLVE A RESERVATION OF A PLACE FOR THE NEXT YEAR, in such a way that if you wish to rejoin these studies you will have to undergo a new admission process.

When does the ex officio cancellation of the registration take place?

Once the course has started and before October 31, if there is a continuous absence of attendance of two weeks, and after a written request from the student, he / she does not join within a maximum period of 3 days. The resulting vacancy (s) will be filled by students on the waiting list.

When does the ex officio enrollment occur?

From the 31st of October until the end of the academic year, the School will be able to carry out official leave of absence of students who stop attending class without justification continuously for 25 school days, or 35 school days if it is discontinuous.

Can a vacancy resulting from an ex officio cancellation or waiver of enrollment be claimed?

Yes, as long as the waiting list corresponds to the type of vacancy. For example; in the 1st year, the cancellation of enrollment of repeat students does not generate a vacancy to be filled by the waiting list for the entrance exams. Dismissals or resignations after October 31 do not generate vacancies.

VALIDATIONS

When and where are applications for validation and / or recognition of modules submitted?

The application, addressed to the General Directorate of Education, must be submitted to the school secretary within a maximum period of 1 month starting the course and the General Directorate resolves within a maximum period of 3 months from receiving the documentation. Recognized studies may not exceed 60 per 100 of the credits of the plan of study or of the curriculum of the degree that pretends cursar.

QUALIFICATION AND PERMANENCE

What degree did I get when I finished my studies?

Upon completion of the studies, the degree of Higher Technician is obtained.

Can I take the 1st year in one specialty and request a change to another specialty in the following courses?

No, even between specialties belonging to the same professional family with common access test. If you want to change your specialty, you must take a new specific entrance test and, if necessary, request the validation of some modules passed in the old specialty during the enrollment phase.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Can I apply for a scholarship?

Yes. The scholarship must be processed directly from the website of the Ministry of Education. At the time of registration, you must indicate if you have requested it.

You must carefully read the regulations regarding Scholarships, it is your responsibility; processing deadlines, academic requirements regarding the minimum number of credits in which you must be enrolled, if the credits of the recognized or validated disciplines are computable, etc.

INTEGRATED PROJECT

Am I going to finish my studies?

Yes. To complete the Studies, an Integrated Project must be submitted.

Can I perform the Integrated Project (IP) with suspended modules?

You must have all the modules approved except for Practical Training in Companies. Exceptionally, the head of studies may authorize you to carry out the IP with suspended modules as long as the sum of the ECTS credits does not exceed 18 and the Project modules have been passed.

Do I have to re-enroll to apply for the December IP call?

Yes, even if it is the extraordinary call corresponding to the registration of the previous year, the new registration is necessary for the management of the administrative procedures involved.

PRACTICES

Will I do an internship in Business?

Yes. In the 2nd year, it is planned to carry out the Training in Work Centers with an hourly load of 150. The School has established agreements with various companies that welcome students in internships. And you can also propose the company in which you want to do the internship and the School draws up the corresponding agreement.

Can I do the Practical Training in Companies with suspended modules?

You must have passed all modules except the Integrated Project. Exceptionally, the head of studies may authorize you to complete the PE with failed modules as long as the sum of the ECTS credits does not exceed 18.

Can I apply for the Internship in Business training exemption if I have work experience?

Yes, it may be total or partial and provided that at least one year's work experience is accredited in a professional field directly related to that of the corresponding higher degree training cycle.
