It is clear that there is a growing recognition of the importance of forests in the sustainable future of planet Earth. "The Living Tree" is a personal work done in order to give visibility to this problem.
A proposal is presented to Ecologists in Action to improve the identity and communication of International Forest Day; An event that currently has no great media impact, for these purposes a series of illustrations are made taking as a unifying, aesthetic and conceptual element "The tree as an individual and as a symbol of nature."
An identifier for International Forest Day is developed and different billboard proposals and promotional items such as flyers, badges, bags and T-shirts are presented. The project is completed with a promotional audiovisual inspired by the life cycle in the forests.
