Date: Thursday, April 3 at 10:30 a.m.

Place: EASD Antonio Faílde.

Architecture to make you happy. Etoecology, neuroarchitecture and listening.

Laura Ortín is an architect with almost 20 years of experience. She founded her own studio in 2011. A series of commissions shaped a dialogue and her own research that evolved into what she has now become, a studio that grows day by day towards sincere, respectful, artisanal and quality architecture.

As an architect, she is interested in the relationship between beings and their living environment, the ethological one, which is why her spaces are healthy, beautiful and emotionally suggestive. Laura Ortín is an architect from the Valencia School of Architecture (2006). She completed her specialization in Building at L'École d'Architecture ISAI in Brussels. She also completed her doctoral studies at the Madrid School of Architecture.

She is a professor of interior design at the Instituto 42 school in Murcia, has been invited to various TFG courts and has given lectures on her work at universities and schools such as Zaragoza, Alicante, Madrid or Cartagena. The studio's projects have been published in a multitude of national and international magazines and blogs, have been finalists in various competitions and presented in conferences and masterclasses. She has written research articles for various specialized magazines such as Innovation and Research in Architecture and Territory at the University of Alicante or Academic Documents of Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Bolivia. She has published several publications in print in international architecture magazines such as I-PLUS Magazine in South Korea, L'Architecture d'Aujoud'hui in France or the German magazine FIO.

The studio is a “rare bird” in the industry since it has reinvented the classic model of an architecture studio by generating a network of respectful and life-compatible collaborations.
