Jennifer Novoa (Geography and History. USC and former student of EASD Antonio Faílde) will delve into her ongoing research The shaping of the female gaze: photographers in Galicia 1950-2000, in which she studies the issue related to the absence of women, as creators, within of the hegemonic historiographic discourse or, on the other hand, the lack of research on their true participation in the development of the photographic medium. In addition, it will be possible to make a small approach to the research career since this constitutes one of the possible professional fields within the plurality of the Galician photographic panorama.
