Isabel Muñoz is one of the most prominent photographers on the contemporary scene. Her passion for the human body as a way of approaching the complexity of the person, her look through different cultures and her social commitment make her a reference in current photography. It also highlights his development of the platinotype technique and the large format to reinforce his speech.
She won the National Photography Award in 2016, has been an Academician of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando since 2022, and has twice won the World Press Photo, among many other distinctions. His work is present in the main collections, including the MNAC Reina Sofía, the Prado Museum or the Maison Européene de la Photographie in Paris.
