Yael de Lorenzo Lamas has just received the first prize in the Juventude Crea 2022 contest, in the Photography category. Yael is a student of the Higher Degree Training Course in Photography at EASD Antonio Faílde and the jury selected her "Youth" series from among the large number of participants.
"Youth" is already part of the temporary collective exhibition that can be seen in the University Church (Santiago de Compostela) and in which the awarded works are exhibited. Later, it will become part of the digital museum: www.museoxuventudecrea.gal
Xuventude Crea, convened by the Xunta de Galicia, has been rewarding the creative proposals of Galician youth for thirteen years in 14 artistic categories: theatre, music, short novel, poetry, video creation, comics, urban art, fashion, jewelry design, cooking , modern dance, video game creation, photography and plastic arts (the latter includes painting and sculpture). The first prize in each category has a financial endowment of €3,000.
