Date: 1/03/2012
Place: Auditorium of the EASD Antonio Faílde.
Last April, the students of the Cabinetmaking cycle and the Higher Education in Interior Design of EASD Antón Faílde de Ourense, accompanied by some of the teachers of the center, made a trip to the north of Italy in order to visit the International Salon of Furniture that was developed at the Fair of Rho, outside Milan. A place that welcomes and gives space to professionals in the furniture sector who, as has been the trend in recent years, came to this event in 2012, leaving evidence that it remains one of the great world references in industrial design.
On the other hand, the trip, programmed as a complementary training activity, served for the students to have a cultural contact in the plastic arts sector and design through the visits made to the various institutions and cultural spaces both in the city of Milan and in Turin, highlighting the route through the historic center of the same and stopping at emblematic places such as the Sforza Castle, the Duomo or the Vittorio Emmanuele Galleries in the capital of Lombardy, or the visit to the Egyptian Museum and the International Cinema Museum in Turin.
