The Department of Graphic Design Degree Education organizes for next Tuesday, October 2, a guided visit to the Barrié Foundation exhibition, at its headquarters in Vigo, "Systems Design. School of Ulm, Ulmer Museum-HfG-Archiv, Ulm (Germany)" , an exhibition organized by the Disseny Hub Barcelona (DHUB), which shows a panoramic view of the work of the Ulm School in shaping design and the training of designers.
It presents the work of the Ulm School (1953-1968), a turning point and genuine beginning of the modern currents of design development in industry and the training of product designers.
The exhibition, composed of 70 pieces from the archive of the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Ulm (Germany) and from private collections and Spanish archives, explores the concept of a system, expressed as a set of components rationally linked to each other, which are capable of generating an object or to contribute to their development and training.
The graphic designer Otl Aicher, co-founder and teacher of the school, is one of the main figures of the modern graphic movement and in this exhibition some of the works developed by him are exhibited, such as the corporate identity and corporate identity program of the Munich Olympics of 1972 .

The coach will leave at 09:00. from the entrance to the premises of the Labor University and will return to Ourense at noon.
