Date: Wednesday, April 3. 11:00 a.m.
Place: Auditorium of the EASD Antonio Faílde.
Architecture and craftsmanship occupy their own place within the creative economy. The design and study of materials converge as the main tools for the development of products derived from the talent of creatives, a creativity that accompanies us through history, that surrounds us everywhere: craftsmanship and architecture are in the chairs, the tables, the signs, the buildings, museums, houses, factories, the plates, bowls and utensils that were the product of an analysis, a learning and the spark that produces a creative mind.
At the EASD Antonio Faílde and Ourense ICC Week we want to put a focus on craftsmanship and design as a value that deserves to be protected, to dignify the profession of craftsman and designer, we want to highlight the importance of modernization, growth and consolidation of a sector that is a source of employment , means of social cohesion and with an important cultural and economic value.
